TICkit Processors - All TICkit processors are based on Microchip(TM) RISC chips and run programs written in FBasic. Protean Logic's TICkit IDE software and download cable are used to place user programs into the processors. Peripheral Processors - Protean Logic Peripheral Processor ICs are Microchip RISC chips (16C series) programmed to perform specific I/O functions. Using these simple monolithic solutions can greatly simplify projects by eliminating or reducing the I/O burden on the main processor of a project.

I²C (IIC) Peripheral Processors

These processors use the Inter-Integrated Circuit two wire bus protocol to communicate with the host processor. Because the TICkit processors use I²C for their EEproms, you can connect these components on the same two bus pins.
